You must disable MySQL® Strict Mode (sql_mode) to run WHMCS on your server. We recommend disabling this immediately after you finish installation.
You can configure WHMCS to use an encrypted MySQL® database. This requires additional steps to add settings to your configuration.php file.
You can migrate your data between local storage locations, or migrate data from an existing location like an Amazon S3™ bucket.
You can easily migrate your WHMCS installation's data storage between locations.
If a serious problem occurs, you can restore your WHMCS database from a recent backup.
WHMCS supports using Amazon S3™ and Amazon S3-compatible services as storage providers. After you create an Amazon S3 bucket, you can configure it as your storage location.
You must create a bucket before you can start configure Amazon S3™ as a storage provider in WHMCS.
